2 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon powdered cinnamon
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup mixed dry fruits
2 tablespoon vegetable oil
50 gm figs
boiling water as required
2 tablespoon powdered green cardamom
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 cup black grape juice
1 tablespoon vanilla essence
50 gm apricots
50 gm cranberries
50 gm dried dates
For The Main Dish
2 tablespoon nutmeg powder
How to make Homemade Plum Cake
Step 1
Chop the figs, apricots, dry dates and cranberries in a bowl and soak them in grape juice for 2 hours.
Step 2
Sieve together all purpose flour, nutmeg powder, cardamom powder, cinnamon powder, baking powder, and baking soda.
Step 3
Add warm water in the bowl of flour mix along with brown sugar, vegetable oil, vanilla essence, mixed dry fruits and soaked fruits. Beat well and make a thick consistency.
Step 4
Dust the cake tin with a little all purpose flour. Pour this to the tin and double tap to avoid air bubble. Bake for 50 minutes at 180 degree Celsius.
